POTPOURRI

Happy Birthday to Dennis Brakeen and Darrell Hopper.

The World Record for the number of guitar pickers all playing the same song was broken Saturday in Luckenbach. A total of 1859 pickers played "Going Back to Luckenbach Texas" for 6 minutes, breaking the record previously held by Germany. It wasn't easy standing in 104 degrees for 1 ½ hours in crowded conditions, but we did it. Everything is bigger in Texas!
