COOKOFF STORIES

We had a wonderful time in Bastrop this weekend. Krystal and her crew at the American Legion always feed us well and make us feel very welcome.

We were almost home when a car pulled out on the road, right in front of us, and provided us with an important lesson – put everything away before driving your motorhome. I really don’t know how we avoided hitting the offending car but we did. However, everything in the house went flying, including a little of the chili Susan had collected for Men’s State. Woolite carpet cleaner got quite a workout after we parked at the house.
