NEWS

Over the weekend, we were saddened and shocked to hear news from Terlingua. On Friday, CASI lost two good friends, Billy and Dianna Key, in a murder-suicide at their home. The Keys were always at TICC and Texas Men’s State with their jewelry booth and their desire to pitch in and help. No further information is available at this time.

COOKOFF STORIES

We traveled north to Perrin for the cookoff at the Mitchell RV Resort this weekend. What a fun time! Despite the cool, rainy weather, there was plenty of visiting with friends, good food and drink, fun and games, and more.

The Mitchell RV Resort is a beautiful park with lots of amenities. Doris was a great host who really appreciated the cooks. Members of the charity, the Adell-Whitt FD, cooked supper and breakfast for us and worked tirelessly throughout the weekend.

Thanks to all for a wonderful weekend.

You are invited to send your cookoff stories to share with our readers to
