RESULTS and UPCOMINGS
“Our cookoff will be February 13th and 14th this year. We are pleased once again to have the Cottondale VFD and the Wise County EMS as our sponsors. I have attached a flyer that details all the various competitions.
Saturday, we have Jackpot Beans, CASI Chili and Cheeseburger competitions. On Sunday, we have Bloody Mary, Omelets and CASI Chili again. As always, we will have unique trophies for all competitions except the Beans (Cash instead with 100% payout). This year, we are also going to award an overall Grand Champion, with its own one-of-a-kind, coveted trophy (earn points for chili, show, beans, bloody mary's, omelets, cheeseburgers etc.).
If you do not care to enter the cooking competitions, we can use your services to judge (see attached). If you would like to help us defer the cost of the trophies (there are 38 of them all together), you can sponsor one for only $10.00 (see attached).
Otherwise, just come and hang out (adult beverages will be available) and plenty of laughs. If you need directions, let me know where you are coming from and I'll send you a Mapquest.” Nick McGarity
