“Attention All Cooks: Fourth of July is Sunday, which means a 3-day weekend for many folks, and there are lots of cookoffs scheduled. Therefore, I am sending out a challenge. If you attend any one of the cookoffs, please take pictures of the cooks and/or booths all decked out in patriotic paraphernalia! Your pictures can be of cooks having fun, cooking, or doing show; be creative. If you see anyone with the charities helping with the cookoff either by selling raffle tickets, helping in registration or in the judging area take pictures of them as well. Let everyone see that the charities are involved. I would like to have a lot of Red, White and Blue in the August Trails!! And don’t forget the articles too! Write a short paragraph or two about how much fun everyone had. Let’s see what you can do.” Dana Plocheck
