“An Invitation to Bid

Bid request for: Polo Shirts and Tee Shirts

Bids must be received by: January 16, 2009

Bid will be awarded: January 25, 2009

The Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI) is seeking a supplier for contestant polo shirts and judges tee-shirts for the 2009 Terlingua International Chili Championship.

The polo shirt bid should be based on 70 dozens shirts. The polo shirts shall be JerZees brand, or approved equal, 50% cotton and 50% polyester with a breast pocket. The shirts will have a front left-side TICC screened logo and sponsor logos on the sleeves. Approximately 16% of the shirts will have a right-side embroidered name and title or company. The approximate size breakdown is as follows: Small – 3%, Medium – 13%, Large – 25%, XL – 35%, 2XL – 18%, 3XL – 5% and 4XL – 1%. Successful bidder shall submit chart reflecting color choices available.

The tee-shirt bid should be based on 51 dozen white shirts, with colors for logo and printing to be determined by CASI. These shirts shall be JerZees brand, or approved equal 100% cotton tees, no pocket. They will have on the front left-side the TICC logo and “Judge” or “TICC Staff” on the back. Sizes of these shirts will be: Medium – 7%, Large – 30%, XL – 44%, 2XL – 17% and 3XL – 2%.

CASI has the artwork for all logos, but set-up charges will have to be included in the bid. The bid shall also include delivery to Rancho CASI de los Chisos no later than the Wednesday prior to the first Saturday in November.

The successful bidder will be determined by the CASI Board of Directors at their January 25, 2009 meeting. All bids must be received by January 16, 2009. RESULTS and UPCOMINGS

“12th Annual Texas Holiday Chili-bration is this Saturday, November 22nd at 3913 Main Street in Rowlett, TX.

CASI turn-in 1:00PM, Bean turn-in 12:00 noon.

The City of Rowlett hosts a Holiday Parade that begins at
10:00 AM. Main Street is closed to traffic at 9:00AM.
All Chili cooks need to be on site by 8:45AM.
