“NOTE to Tequila Rose Buds: We are planning a brief Tequila Rose Bud gathering and toast at the Louisiana State Cook-Off this weekend in Minden. Please pass the word for those gals going to Minden, to bring a chilled bottle of the "Sweet Nectar", your special shot glass, and something pink for our photo opt! (We will of course need to be discreet and conceal our alcohol consumption, because of the dry venue!) “We want to thank everyone who came out and cooked and helped make this a successful event. I also thank those who both contributed to, and bought from, the silent action. Some things went wrong, but a lot more went right and we impressed the ladies who were involved from MISD Transportation, to the point I was cornered at 5:15 this morning “When can we have another?”, so we are already in the planning stages and we will have information in the CHN and the pod newsletters as it develops.
