“Before you take care of your taxes, take some time out to read the April issue of the Terlingua Trails. This is the best remedy to take your mind off this dreadful duty. Read about the winners, cry with the losers, read the upcomings and circle your calendars with the cook offs you plan on entering. Check out the scholarship recipients messages. This will always make you feel good. If you are planning on holding a cookoff, try sending it in early. This will surely make life easier for Dorathy Williams and myself. Enjoy everyone and remember to support CASI’s wonderful sponsors.” (Bucky Seelig)
“At the end of February, Wes Carlson, Loves Park IL, cooked in an ICS cookoff in Rhode Island. By being able to find Rhode Island, Wes has now cooked CASI or ICS chili in all fifty United States! Considering that many of us have not even been to all 50 states, that's quite a remarkable feat.” (Bill Pierson)
