NEWS

“Cheryl's lumpectomy was not successful. The type of cancer (lobuler) is not just one tumor but several small tumors. The pathology results also showed cancer in a couple of the lymph nodes. At this time there is only cancer in one breast, but there is a pretty good likelihood it will develop in the other. So we are looking at a double mastectomy. This will probably take place in early April.” (Bill Pierson)

“It’s not too early to start planning on attending the 38tth annual Hal John and Judy Wimberly, Houston POD CCO, April 25th and 26th. It’s always a great time!!! See the attached flyer for information and registration form. We’ve got some great cooks’ goodie bag gifts, so get your pre-registration in early to make sure you get one.

And for course, we’ll also be doing the 6th annual Ron Charlton, Junior Chili Championship CCO. So, if you know of a junior who has cooked in the past, or would like to cook this year, get them signed up.

See all of you there. The weather will be great, and of course, Traders Village is the best CCO venue around. Don’t miss it.” (Michael Mayorga)
