In an effort to boost slumping subscriptions, Sirius Radio has agreed to host a channel dedicated to CASI. Executive Director, Janice Miller, announced the Silly Chili Channel will create much-needed funding to build a restaurant at Krazy Flats. CASI will receive a contribution from Sirius for every new subscriber who signs up during the promotional period. Watch for details here.
After an unsuccessful bid at Texas Men’s State, Tim Collier has decided to test the competition at Ladies State. Tim and Connie have been working on an outfit for Tim to wear when he attempts to register.

The CASI Board of Directors is working on an emergency rules change proposal to address the challenge of finding sufficient Finals judges for small Sunday cookoffs. Apparently, they will propose minting a new CASI coin to use in a series of coin flips to determine cookoff winners. The completed proposal and a mock-up of the coin will be sent to Great Peppers in the next couple of months.
