“Another hugely successful Southwest Open Chili Championship Cookoff...The weather was hot, hot, hot but the event even HOTTER as we had 151 cooks and qualified 5 for Terlingua!!!!
On behalf of the N.O.B. Pod and the SW Open committee - Thank you to everyone - Cooks, Judges, Monitors, Tally Crew, Runners, Sponsors and Charities...What a great time we had over the weekend! As usual everyone pulled together and helped make this another top-rated cookoff!!!
Next year promises to be even better as I have already talked to Mother Nature and she assures me it will be 20 degrees cooler, no rain and only a slight breeze...So start making plans now!
