RESULTS AND UPCOMINGS

"This weekend is the annual Schulenburg Festival. Friday night in the Biergarten will be The Original Triumphs followed by the performance of B. J. Thomas and tickets are available the gate. Saturday starts the cooking - CASI Chili, entry fee is $20.00, turn-in is at 3 p.m. Before that they have a Jackpot Blood Mary Contest, entry fee is $10.00 with turn-in/set-up at 9:30 and judging at 10 sharp (must be 21 to participate in the contest or be a judge). At 12 noon is the turn in for the Jackpot beans competition, entry fee if $15.00. Electrical hookups are available for the weekend for small fee but are limited so if you need the comforts of AC, contact Virginia at 979.561.8573 or email her at meyer@cvctx.com or Sharon at 979.562.2410 or email her at sbujnoch@cvctx.com. Saturday is filled with all-day and all-night music for your listening and dancing pleasure in the Biergarten, lots of arts and crafts booths, vendors serving great food, and a carnival as well as the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Go Texan BBQ competition.
