Good morning from wet, central Texas. We're sleep-deprived from waking to the weather alarm and flood warnings throughout the night. Tropical Storm Hermine is paying us a visit and dumped up to 14 inches of rain, in some areas, overnight. We hope all our friends are safe and dry this morning.

"Another chili head needs good thoughts and wishes. Lisa Duggans mother suffered a stroke on Tuesday morning and is in the hospital in Ft Worth. The only news I have is she has paralysis on left side and they do not know at this time if it is permanent or not." David Budda Manske
