"Attention Terlingua Tea Pots; there will NOT be a tea party this year in Terlingua. I will be traveling to TICC from CA and will not be able to haul all of my tea party items in our motor home for 2 months. I do apologize in advance to those of you that have already bought your new dress and door prizes. Keep them for next year and I will make next year's tea party a special one. I would like for the Terlingua Tea Pots to donate money to the scholarship fund, you may give your donation to me and I can present it on stage on Friday.from the Terlingua Tea Pots. RESULTS AND UPCOMINGS

"Come cook for your first points of the new chili in Old Town Helotes TX Saturday October 2nd. Lots of RV parking, dry camping, you may arrive as early as Thursday. Follow signs on Hwy 16 (Bandera Rd)….park behind Wine 101. You can cook where you camp. CASI Rules, Chili grind, turn in at 2 pm. $20 entry fee….$10 entry fee if you bring 2 gallons of people’s choice. Last year we had 2,000 people attending looking for chili, so bring lots of People’s Choice Chili. Goody bags and T-shirts for all cooks. Handmade windmill trophies to 1st place chili, show and people’s choice. Bean cook-off $10 entry fee 50/50 split; turn in time 12N.

Helotes is located on Bandera Road (TX 16); two miles outside loop 1604 on the NW side of San Antonio. Cooks party Friday night at Wine 101.

Lots of vendors, gift shops, wine shops, antiques, etc.; get a head start on your Christmas shopping. Looking for a new pet, SPCA will be on location with lots of loving cats and dogs looking for a new home. DJ and live music.
