RESULTS AND UPCOMINGS

"October 9, 2010 2nd Annual Chandler Pow Wow Chili Cook-Off. Last year over 8,000 attended annual Pow Wow featuring parade, rides, entertainment and 70 crafts and food booths. Great setup for cooks under trees as parade passes right by booths. Competition in CASI (Chili grind only, entry fee $20.00, turn in 1:00), People's Choice (bring plenty of throw-down), Showmanship and 50/50 beans (entry fee $5.00, turn in noon). Great prizes. From Tyler, take Hwy 31W 12 miles to Chandler. Turn left at light on Hwy 315 for 3/4 mile to Winchester Park. Follow Cook-Off signs. Come early as Hwy 315 closes temporarily at 9:45 for parade.
