Good evening from Palm Springs, California. We've driven straight for two days but I guess we'll be making a right turn in the morning and heading north to wine country. The scenery has been spectacular. Just like our drive to Montana earlier this year, you can drive forever and see amzing sights. What a country.

NEWS

"This weekend I rode a challenging 130 miles in the Bike MS: Valero 2010 Alamo Ride to the River. Please help me reach my goal by visiting my personal page today and making a secure online donation at the link below.

I was diagnosed with MS in June of 2000. They have come a long way since I was diagnosed in the research thanks to the support of people like yourself, but we still have a ways to go. Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, unpredictable disease of the central nervous system (the brain, optic nerves, and spinal cord). Living with MS means living with uncertainty.

I appreciate your support." Steve Nadeau

"Once again, Roger Foltz has been kind of enough to agree to call me from the stage at TICC and tell me the winners.

If you are not going to be able to go to Terlingua this year and would like to know the winners in a very timely manner, please let me know.

Either:
Call me at 817-975-2200.
Or
Email me at mikie@mcgarity.org

I’ll be happy to let you know right away." Mikie McGarity

RESULTS AND UPCOMINGS

"We wish to thank all who came to our lst and 2nd Points for Sight on October 2 and October 3. We were all very happy that the rains stayed away this year,
therefore, no "stuck in the muds". Thanks to Mike Park and Joe Trigo for running a football pool and giving Lions half of proceeds, $100.00 to Sight. This will purchase 4 pairs of glasses. Thank you Ruby and Herb Ross for your donation even though you couldn't be there. Many thanks as always, to our Head Judge Janet Cardenas; referee Steve Ashman; my driver,Chicken and Dumplin maker, grunt, and whatever else needs to be done, Papa John; Billy Doss and his tally team;
all our monitors, helpers, Lions, and AISD Vision and Hearing folks. Special Special thanks to our "Resident" electrician/RV Tech, Keith Barkley who was on 24/7 that weekend with Doc and John.
