Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Pod On The Pedernales will hold their meeting / St. Patty’s party tonight at the Silver K Café. The CHN might look a little fuzzy tomorrow morning.
A few Men’s State weekend announcements and reminders:
Friday registration begins at 3:00. It will be followed, at 5:00, by a cocktail party with wine samples and snacks. Friday evening will round out with a fajita supper, 42 tournament, and music by Nigel.
Saturday will again feature a bean competition with 100% payback.
We’ll add hot wings to the schedule this year with turn in around 11 AM. There will be one turn in (no Finals) and we will supply the wings. Entry will be $15.
There will be upgraded chili awards for both Saturday and Sunday. In addition, to the normal awards for Saturday, the top ten will receive a jacket, sponsored by Mild Bill’s Spices, and a bottle of champagne, sponsored by Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi wines. On Sunday, all of the custom Jeep Collins pepper awards will be silver and we’ll be awarding bottles of champagne again.
Hope to see you there.
