“Herb received his pacemaker on Thursday. Had no problems. We go back on the 14th for a checkup. Everything went great. Except for 'hurry up & wait'. There was plenty of that. He is almost ready for another 90 years! Love to all.” (Ruby Ross)

“Just want to let you all know to put Pat in your prayers. we found out that the pain that she had on her right side of her head is from a tumor in her right eye socket. they will start 30 radiation treatments this wed.this will be her 3rd bout with this cancer. so we will be staying in kerrville or Ingram for the next 6 weeks and coming home on the weekends.”” (Raymond Pilchiek)
“Bob passed away peacefully in his sleep this morning. He did accomplish most everything that he wanted to before he went into the hospital. Elizabeth is still in town and will return to Tucson tomorrow. We have figured out that the viewing will be on Thursday evening and a graveside service on Friday. You can look up the obit on the Kansas City Star website one day this week. I will go to the funeral home tomorrow to make the final arrangements. Thanks for everything.
