NEWS

“Sue has been moved to the Seton Hospital to their cardiac care unit. Seton has the transplant center here in Austin and we needed to have her here in case that is needed.

Tuesday morning, sue was doing great. they had been reducing the amount of sedation and she was starting to respond to simple commands and respond to voices. Later that afternoon she started to go south on us and thru the night, she gave us some scary moments as her Sat's were going down.

This morning, she showed some signs of improvement, although she is still quite critical.

Here at Seton, she will be monitored for any signs of change, hopefully to the positive side.

There are many options that may develop, depending on her recovery, the greatest of all would be her needing a transplant. That could be soon; several days; weeks; or she could improve and not need one at all. It is up to her, and God.

And Thanks to all of you who have called and who have prayed for us. I understand that there has been Masses said for Sue. I think another one is planned for this evening in Flatonia.

Again, Thanks and keep us in your prayers.” (Rj, Sue, Karl Steinhauser, and Our Family and Friends hear at Seton)

Then Saturday AM we will have an adult breakfast drink with biscuits and gravy. Dry camping in the Jockey Club parking lot (paved)(did I attach an aerial photo?) with a covered area for the pot luck and judging. Four port-a-potties will be available. And, yes, the Health Department People have said they will be there also, so we must have our wash stations, etc. ready for them and we can use only USDA approved beef.

In the aerial view the red pin marks the spot in the Jockey Club parking area where the CCO will be held.” (Rick Thomas)
