“Good Morning Chili Family, Our Lions Sight Committee and Sot Pod wish to invite you to our weekend of fun, family, foolishness, and lots of hugs and food on October 4 and 5 at Giddy Ups Bar out in Manchaca. We park and cook in an open field, no plug ins. But Giddy Ups has restrooms and lots of cold beer. Chili grind only both days. Beans on Saturday. Bean turn in l:00----Chili 2:00. On Sunday, Chili only and turn in is at 1:00. Cooks party Friday night, Continental Breakfast Saturday, Pot Luck Saturday Night and Biskits and gravy Sunday. Silent Auction on Saturday. Lions Sight Saturday to purchase eyeglasses for our school children. Sunday is for Sot Pod charities. For our Houston area family, if any of you are coming and need something, please let us know. We can bring extras. You can come in and park starting Thursday afternoon. Hope to see a bunch of you there. Hope you get your lst and 2nd points with us. Donna and Dianne would like your chili, if you don't want it. I will furnish bags. They are doing a fundraiser to try to keep Moody Library open. Appreciate all your help.
