Starting off the new chili year was the 2nd annual Ft. Wayne Chilifest. Raising monies for the American Cancer Society. The day started off with the Cancer Walk, and strolled in the a great chili cook-off.

Another new cook-off in Indiana made it way into the record books. This is the 3rd of 4 CASI cook-off's in a row for Indiana. Supporting HandiCapable Peru, the money raised at this cook-off helped turn disabilities into possibilities.

“The 6th Annual Wabash Cannonball Chili for Charity Cook-Off is scheduled for this weekend, October 18, 2008 at Paradise Spring Historical Park in Wabash, Indiana. This is the largest chili cook-off in Indiana. Proceeds from this event to benefit ten Wabash County charities. CASI Chili and Showmanship, Open Division, People's Choice, and Restaurant Division .
