RESULTS and UPCOMINGS

“The weather was perfect and the event went off without a hitch. We had some locals do well and did our best to promote CASI at a brand new event in the beautiful farmland of Lancaster County PA. We had a CASI and an open chili competition.

We have had a great time each year and the promoters go to great lengths to make sure the event is a success. We look forward to having everyone there. “Oct 18, 2008-017 - Garland TX CASI. Kappa Beta Epsilon Sigma Alpha International CCO. Kappa Beta a chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International is holding their very first chili cook off to benefit the March of Dimes and Easter Seals. The cook off will be held at the Garland Elks Lodge, 3825 Duck Creek Dr. Please contact Phylis Ballard at (972) 754-4969. or dp2ballard@aol.com Chili cook off will have a 1 p.m. turn in, GRIND ONLY. Chili entry will be $20. Chili will have stoves for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Bean will be 50/50 with a 12 p.m. turn in and will pay 1st place. We will also have a raffle with 6 tickets for $5.00. “The 9th Annual BBQ Cook Off & 1st Time CASI Chili Cook Off is only 4 days away here in Crawford TX.. Hope you have made plans to be here. We will have Most Ugly Truck Contest, Muttin Bustin, Lawn Mower Races, BBQ Cook Off and CASI Chili Cook Off. Looks like we will have great weather. It will be held at the Crawford Saddle Club. Thursday will be the second annual Lorina’s Cantina Chili Cookoff.

Friday will be the 16th Annual Bonnie and Cliff Everett MMemorial Cookoff.
