RESULTS and UPCOMINGS

“Everyone is cordially invited to join us in Irving, TX Saturday and Sunday (12-13 and 12-14) for the Irving Elks 20th Annual Chili CCO (formerly sponsored by the Irving Elks Does, now sponsored by Irving Elks Past Exalted Rulers). The lodge is located at 2015 N Britain Road in Irving. CASI entry fee $20 with turn-in at 2:00 pm (no restrictions on style of meat). Bean competition is $5, turn-in 12:30 pm, 100% payback. Elks division also turns-in at 2:00 pm, $15 entry, free if participating in CASI division. Showmanship competition is from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Friday nights cooks party is also the Annual TOT/Cowtown Christmas Party. The Lodge is providing the turkey and dressing & ham. Please bring your favorite covered dish.

We are also collecting non-perishable food items for the local food bank. Bring items and receive up to 5 raffle tickets (there are some great raffle items available). After dinner, stick around and kick up your heels with Wade Hatton and the Texas Hat Band!

Plenty of parking available with limited RV hookups (first come, first served, $5 per night). Cookoff proceeds benefit the Elks charities. The latest forecast is for temps in the upper 60’s to low 70’s over the weekend so come on out and enjoy the nice weather! “Temple H-E-B # 1 & # 2 are all geared up for their 1st CCO this week end. We will be @ H-E-B Temple # 2 on Saturday Dec. 13th. Location is 31st & Market Loop ( across from Temple Mall ) Turn in time is 2:00 PM entry is $18.00. On Sunday Dec. 14th we will go just down the road to H-E-B Temple # 1, Location is 31st W. Adams St. Turn in time is 1:00PM entry is $18.00.The weather looks good, it will be windy but they say no rain. Plenty of parking, RV'S are welcome.
