“The Tri-State Open Chili Championship is January 10,2009 in the Rex Baxter building on the Tri-State Fairgrounds in Amarillo, TX. Benefiting Make-A-Wish Texas Plains Chapter.
This is just a reminder to send in your registration postmarked by December 27th to be eligible for the drawing of the free rooms we give away. The entry fee is $25.00. Cooks party Friday night, and a cooks free breakfast on Saturday morning. Turn in is 1:00. If you have give away chili please bring it. There is a lot of public at this cook-off.

Friday night January 9, is the Tall in Texas Pod chili cook-off in the Rex Baxter building. Chili Grind only. Turn in is 8:30 PM. We will also be having a Junior cook-off Friday night for ages 5 to 17. Ground meat only and turn in 8:00 PM.
