Brent Allen’s mother passed away Tuesday morning. She had been quite ill and in the hospital for the past 5 weeks. Services for Leona Allen will be Wed. 4/29 at 10 am at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel in Corpus Christi. Please keep Brent in your thoughts and prayers.

“The Three-I Regional Open Championship is this weekend in Burlington, IA. Two cookoffs same location. Three-I on Saturday May 2nd and the Iowa Pod CCO on Sunday, May 3rd. Saturdays turn in is at 2:00 PM and Sundays turn in is @ noon. Local business chili $20 turn-in 2 pm; Beans $10 turn-in Noon; Lonestar Bar-B-Q Chicken, ribs, brisket $20 each or $50 for all categories. We will also have our silent auction along with the raffle.
