"Just a reminder that the cook off is only a week away!!! This is our pod cook off !!!! If you are planning on cooking please let me know so we can get an idea of how many cooks we will have.

We will be doing a silent Auction this year with the help of the reserve deputy sheriff's. The reserves are not paid for their service, they volunteer their time and the cost of training and equipment comes out of their pockets. They perform a vital service by filling in for deputies on vacation or out sick, they maintain and service the mobile command unit used in emergency situations or large crime scenes, and they work when extra officers are needed at large events like the county fair and Oregon trail days. If you have an item or two you would like to donate to help out the reserve's please bring them with you to the cook off.

Scott and Linda will be providing us with lunch about 1 pm on the day of the cook off too. THANKS SCOTT AND LINDA!!!!!!!
