A new trailer as recently hit the internet for “The Stool Pigeon”, directed by Dante Lam which stars Nicholas Tse and Nick Cheung.

PLOT
“Senior Inspector Don Lee (Cheung) relies heavily on the information provided by stool pigeons in his job. Barbarian is a painstakingly meticulous armed robber. Don needs an informant to infiltrate his gang so he recruits street-racer Guy (Tse). Guy provides information on Barbarian’s next job, but Don is unable to effectively act on them until the final moment. Since Barbarian has not left any evidence, Don is pressured to convince Guy to become a witness for the prosecution.

Don promises to provide Guy with a new identity in another country, but the departure is beset by accidents and Guy only barely makes it to safety. Haunted by his ruined relationships with his ex-wife and former stool pigeons, Don no longer wants to be part of a world that is one betrayal after another”.

Nicholas Tse has been really busy the past few years starring in movies such as Bodyguards and Assassins, Storm Warriors, Invisible Target, Rob-B-Hood and New Police story.

The movie is set for release on the 26th August, 2010.

Nick Cheung as Best Male Actor in Beast Stalker

Nick Cheung was awarded Best Actor for his performance in (Beast Stalker) at the 53rd Asia Pacific Film Festival. It is his 6th time being titled Best Male. He said "(Beast Stalker) has given me many awards. I feel it's a perfect full stop. I have a place at home to store my awards and I have left a space for this award. This award is for everyone involved in the production".

Nick Cheung popularity in "The Beast Stalker" lands in Hawaii

Depending on the film "The Beast Stalker" Nick Cheung won the Best Actor award, earlier he was invited to attend the Hawaii International Film Festival . Although the local fans there are not familiar with Nick Cheung, but they know that he has two films in which is participates in the nominations with including "The Beast Stalker" and "Red River". Many of the local audience there saw his two films and admire his acting, after watching Nick in the two films, they requested to take pictures with him. Nick felt honored to get such good feedback on his role in "The Beast Stalker", he hopes that the original cast members could be able to collaborate in and set fresh new sparks again.

Nick Cheung & Esther Kwan Film Ad Together

Best actor, Nick Cheung Ka Fai and wife, Esther Kwan Wing Hor, filmed an ad for a mainland decorative items brand for a seven figure fee. The company planned the ad concept for half a year, using the backdrop of the wealthy Xiguan merchant image. Thus it was important to choose ad models who could convey the Xiguan merchant image. After four months of consultation, the company found Nick and Esther to be the most suitable couple. Aside from their talented performing skills, they also have a healthy image and fit the ad image.

On the day of the ad shoot, Nick exclaimed upon seeing the luxurious set, "Wow! The set looks beautiful!” After filming several intimate poses in which the couple looked into each others’ eyes, Nick and Esther could not refrain from laughing, causing multiple re-takes. The couple rarely gazed at each other so intimately in the presence of other people. However, Nick and Esther successfully completed the filming.
